From Internship to C-suite, Lessons For Designers – Cia Mooney Interviewed by Michael DiTullo  by Eric Ludlum

Cia Mooney studied industrial design at Pratt Institute and the Domus Academy and has since held a variety of leadership roles in the furniture industry and in design education, most recently as the Chief Design Officer of Watson, a contract furniture maker based in Washington State.

In this, the season finale of the 1:1 Design Podcast, Cia and Michael discuss some of her firsthand experiences with design icons at GM and in Milan, explore what it takes to develop structure for design within companies, address some big picture issues and dispense gems of advice for young professionals along the way.
